Has any of you also been to the Handicraft Fair of Hungarian Flavors? Or are you planning to go there today? I hope you liked it as much as I did!
Walking through the doors gave me the sense that I was entering the world of food! I was introduced to a large variety of Hungarian products. I made sure that I did not miss a single stand! The people that made the products were very friendly and were willing to tell me more about the products.
I tasted many cheeses (I bought one small box with different kinds of Hungarian cheeses because I could not resist them; I am even eating these delicious cheeses while writing this blog), sausages, cookies, chocolates, Hungarian wines and fruit drinks!
There was also a chocolate card stand. If you are looking for a nice chocolate gift for someone’s birthday or for another occasion I can highly recommend this sweet product. You can choose a nice card, write a personal message on it and it will be the put in the frame of the gift box full of chocolates! The ideal gift for chocoholics! You can find more information on www.chococard.hu .
My favorite Hungarian drink was the Kökénybor sweet wine! This is a typical wine from Debrecen. There are different flavors. My favorite is raspberry! I loved it so much, so I decided to buy one bottle.
If you want to taste the Hungarian culture then go to this fair. Bon appétit, or jó étvágyet as the Hungarians say.
